another service address question

I called the Dish CSR on Monday and had my service address changed so I could actually get me real local channels.
Anyone know how long it takes to have them activated and in the guide?
Do I need to do anything on my side?

what do you mean "real" channels??

But you have to add the locals once you move

For my local channels they have me getting Detroit stations, which is like 75 miles from me instead of getting Flint stations, which is 20 miles from me.
So I after I change my service address I have to re-add local channels?

You have to spell it out to some CSR's. I physically moved and had new equipment installed at the new home and had to call back due to still having the old locals on the account. Even though I could not physically see the old local channels.

Yeah call them back and tell them about the locals.
