I just purchased an indoor antenna the Zenth ZHD-TVI and get FOX-HD, NBC-HD, ABC-HD, all at 50% about half the time. I am located in the Cincy area. If I purchased an outdoor antenna will I get 100% most of the time? I am new to this satelite thing. Dish installer told me I didn't need a HD antenna. I kinda wish I would of stayed with cable after all this.

Can't go back until my 6 month agreement is up. I will give an outdoor antenna a try and see what happends.

Welcome to satellite guys jhump.

Go to http://www.antennaweb.org/aw/Address.aspx

Enter your address. It will tell you what kind of antenna you need and which direction it should point.

Generally, if you get a larger antenna and put it in your attic or on the roof you should be able to get a great lock. Especially since you are getting 50% with a small indoor antenna.

Don't get discouraged, it will be well worth the effort.

And ignore the trolls that pop into some of these threads.
