Mission Viejo, california
I just got a 10ft kit dish for free and knowing myself i tried it all even a 5g titanium LNB

But the question is does China meters do good with are normal Fta channels because it just looks like they do by having them on the list can seen to find anything. I live in California mission Viejo tried getting the signal from my receiver as well but still the same. I have a sathero the receiver and on both the signal goes up and down.
And if anyone live near me with a good meter and knows what's there doing can come help.

Or any recommendations on a meter budget not Chinese

This is the new setupi just put up

10foot it's late right now so I'll take a full complete pic tomorrow

Regarding satellite signal meters, you will be hard pressed to find one NOT made in China these days. The most important thing is to have North America support for your meter. I myself use a First Strike FS1 from DMS International. I used it today to help re-align my 10 Ft BUD. No longer sold, but maybe you can find a used one. Other than that i recommend the SatHero SH-200. Probably around $200 ish, but i dont know. But the genuine SatHero Meters can be loaded with North America satellite lists. I would contact DMS International and but from them. They will ship from China i think, but request USA sat lists, they keep them pretty up to date. Hope this helps and good luck.

ok thank you i have the sh100hd sathero but only loads like 5 transponders per satellite i probably would go for go fast motor sports sathero better version as my list is long

also does 5g interferance relate to the P: fluktuating and do you recommend the titatium 5g i have or a better like the ones from tek2000 because i still have some chapparal like the feedhorn with 5g filter better quality one filter like wich?

Did you ever get a meter batzen1981?

Just curious if you got one, if so, which one, and how do you like it?

batzen1981,

Not sure if Sathero still makes it, but I’m very pleased with the SH 300 I bought several years ago. Still works like a charm and is very accurate.

Most FTA receivers have a built-in meter that works very well. Just use an active transponder. May have to program it in, but not a big deal. Just take a display out to the dish with the receiver and power source.

I also have an SH-200 from a few years ago. It works fine as long as it doesn't get too cold.

Some receivers have an app that can allow you to use your phone or tablet via wifi to align your dish. This works very well since you are seeing the signal at the receiver through all the cabling and switches, so it can also help track down other issues.

Good luck, and have fun!

I will second the FS1 its a great little meter I just wish there was a way to upgrade it where it could have S2 support. It will tune a S2 carrier but the levels jump all over the place. I still use mine weekly just about. I just replaced the LCD screen that I scratched several years ago working on a ladder. Wish I could buy a bucket truck LOL
