Just after I turned my second dish to pick up a (cough) new discovery, the channels on my primary dish reported No Signal. Long story short, my Disecq switch appears to be stuck on LNB 2. I hooked the cord from my primary dish into LNB 2, and even though all the channels on that dish are programmed to LNB 1, it works.

I've only had this switch for 3-4 months. :( How often are switches supposed to last? Any way to jump-start it?

Carload, did you do the connections while the receiver was on? Any connection you do you, always switch the receiver off. I did this once. While I was connecting the Fortec star LNBF to the cable, I blew my switch (for OTA combination).

Thanks, I'll know what not to do with the switch's replacement. :D
