The article doesn't really cover a lot of new ground but provides a logical premise for Dish to make more HD available as a matter of necessity to stay afloat. I think it overplays the importance of the legal decisions ... it's pretty much an unthinkable that the DVR's could be turned off. But if I were a new customer looking at dish right now I think I'd have to factor it in.
