Didn't Microsoft write the software for those? Dish does seem to be on the same software release schedule as Microsoft lately. I started having a problem with my laptop due to a software release around the same time last month that Dish released their software. Then, right before this new Dish software version was announced, the problem with my laptop software magically was fixed. Coincidence?Does the new software include my Dish Player ?

At one point, Scott posted the contact info, so members here could volunteer. Perhaps they (Dish) should do that again.And me.
They know who has two Hoppers. They could contact X of them, and some portion would sign the NDAs and do the work. For free.
But that would require some Dish personnel to collect, collate and present the data. An expense. Which someone must calculate the trade off.
