Why is channel 42 concord being replaced by the Azteca America National feed in the S. F. Bay Area? Not a complaint because channel 42 P.Q. sucks, just curious.

This is the way Azteca wants it. Dish was forced to remove Azteca Mecico and use Azteca America.

On April 1, 2005 channel 825 XHDF TV 13 (or TV Azteca 13, Mexico) was removed from channel 825 and replaced with Azteca America

Azteca America (825) is available to all Dish Latino subscribers EXCEPT in Houston, San Francisco and Yakima where their local TV Azteca affiliates are available in the DL package instead of the national feed (Channels 849-851). Dish Latino subscribers in Reno and Omaha are not able to get TV Azteca at all due to the local stations' refusal to allow Dish Network to rebroadcast their signal.

See ya
Tony

That's the weird thing they are now reversing the decision and adding channel 825 the national feed to the S. F. Bay Area and removing the Concord channel 42 that is on Dish Latino channel 850 as of Feb. 1st. I'm not sure if 42 will continue to be available on the local channel line up.
