Before I make the upgrade call....

Here's what I've got now: 811 and 625.

I've replaced one of the tv's on the 625 to HD set. I'd like to add new 211 for new HD set and upgrade 811 to 211. Keep the 625 and hook up additional bedroom to it. Is this possible. Wanted some knowledgeable feedback before I call Dish.

If you are upgrading your 811 to the 211 than you cannot get another 211 unless you purchase it from a retailer. You are only allowed to lease one HD receiver at a time.

Sounds like I need to keep my 811 and 625 and get a new 211 for $99.00?? Will I be able to receive all the HD channels on the 811. I do not get locals. Can I add the Voom channels with a new dish install??

Man this is confusing....

Unfortunately the 5(?) new VOOM channels, plus ESPN2-HD and Universal HD are only available with the new receivers. If you have 2 HDTV's with one on the 211 and one on an 811, only the 211 will "see" the new channels.
