Hello to all, I saw in other post a channel mapping posted by Iceberg.
There I didn't see any transponder beamed from D*4S? D*4S is now only a backup?
I couldn't find any reported failures of D*4S that could force backup status my source:

Sat ND | Failures

I know odd Transponders come from D*8 but I'm not to clear about even transponders
if some come from 9S or some from 4S.
All I have learned from those birds is they're actually located:

D*8 @ -100.88 / D*9S @ -101.13 / D*4S @ -101.17

Thank you in advance!!

There is a poster at dbstalk that has a nice spreadsheet of what is on what satellite and transponder. You are right about odd transponders are from D8. The only other satellite I saw listed at 101 is D9S, which has the even transponders.

Thank you Raoul,

To bad Iceberg hasn't read this thread.......thanks any way.

P.D. are you the Raoul that posted long time ago at DBSForums?

Could be, I used the same screen name at dbstalk.com, Raoul5788. I stopped posting over there a little while ago. They are such asswipes I couldn't take it any more! ;) BTW, my name is Chip. Raoul is just a screen name. Oh, and I'm guessing that Iceberg has read this thread. He doesn't miss much around here!

there was a moderator there (DBSForums) called Raoul for the Latin America board (Fringe areas), he lived in Puerto Rico........to bad they don't have similar board here.....
