blank screen channel name showing only

I have a dvr 522. And the only channels that show a picture is the dishnetwork chaannels and the ppp channels. All the other channels have a black screen and with the channel info thing at the top showing.

Happens every once in a while. Your menu button work? If so, run a check switch (menu, 6-1-1) to make sure it is detecting your signal.

Most of the time just holding in the power button until the lights on the unit go off and releasing and allowing the receiver to reset works.

Unplug the receiver and plug it back in.
