In this, its 23rd year of Blue Jays basbeball on TSN, the sports channel will carry 23 games, and all home matches will be in high definition.

TSN has announced its 2006 Toronto Blue Jays
broadcast schedule, noting it is coming off a strong 2005 baseball season, which saw ratings for its games coverage averaging 412,000 viewers per game* -
a 72 per cent increase over 2004's season average of 239,000.

TSN will once again produce and broadcast all home
games (15) in High Definition on TSN HD, beginning with the Jays' third game of the season on

Rod Black and Pat Tabler team up for the fifth year to anchor the Jays on TSN. Black will handle play-by-play while Tabler, a former Blue Jay,
returns to the booth as colour commentator.

Highlights of TSN's 2006 broadcast schedule include a game against the World Series champion Chicago White Sox on August 5, four games against AL East
rival New York Yankees, and a total of three Interleague match-ups against Atlanta (June 21) and Washington (June 27 and 28).

TSN is available in eight million households. TSN's programming and news content is also available online at TSN.ca.
