Bummer: ASC-Flix & ASC Xtra (IA-5) going pay

Globecast has announced that ASC-Flix and ASC-Xtra will be encryoted from May 22nd! Most people here may not watch those channels, but a bummer for FTAer

Good news You can get a free globecast receiver and smart card by Subscribing to these two channels for a year calling their number!

What is Globecast buying all these channels?I have flicked through them,hope this is not some kind of trend and I doubt that FTAers will subscribe we will just hunt for other stuff.
