I have a 8.5 mesh C band system. I get 100 signal on the videocipher screen. What is the smallest C band dish size that will still get about the same signal?

Why would you want a smaller one, that's the right size for everything.

Because my 8.5 is a piece of junk and I want to replace it with one that don't cost that much. I know Ku works with smaller dishes but I don't know how big a C band has to be. :(

You do not want anything under 8.5, I would get a 10' you can get one free or real cheap if you look around, just make sure it is not warped and has tight mesh holes and it will work good for Ku-band also.

I've noticed the prices aren't much different between 6 to 10. If I'd spend $350 for a 6 not much more $600 for a 10'. I finally got my dish to start working again. Those LNB's just stop working for no reason. lol I thought someone was moving my settings.
