C-Band Satellite at 74-Deg W

I found a blank video carrier (analog) on xpdr 5V (3.8000 GHz), neither Lyngsat or SatcoDX show a C-band in that position and the last satellite I have any record of being there is Galaxy-6 when it was co-located with SBS-6. Is there some recent satellite that was launched testing in that spot?

I belive G13 replaced G9 at 91-degrees already, and G9 was suppose to move to 74-degrees.........sounds like that has just happened.....nice find!

I was watching Starz HD on trans 122+124 on G9 last night....had a few problems before I fell out..will check again today!

Looking at an old OnSat magazine, from October 2004, in the "ku & other sats" section, I found it listed Galaxy 12 at 74.0w. So, I did a search for Galaxy 12 and found this:

According to this link above, Galaxy 12 was successfully launched on April 9, 2003. I don't know if I've ever seen any programming on it.

there was a blank video carrier on W6 AMC-6 (formerly GE-6)@72º yesterday but thats the Nasa transponder that shows up from time to time on (trannsponder 5)
