Can I receive Florida local TV stations in North Carolina??

I'm considering having Dish Network TV installed in my Florida Home (Tampa). We spend the summers in the mountains of North Carolina and I would sure like to receive the local Tampa TV stations for news in NC.

I spoke to Direct TV and after getting conflicting answers, I finall spoke to a DTV supervisor whos said it was possible as long as the equipment is initially set up in Tampa.

I plan to set it up in Tampa and bring the equipment with me to NC where I would have another antenna installed

I'll await answers.

No, the spotbeams for Tampa locals don't extend out of the state of Florida.
