Can it really cost me over $120 mo. (+ $299) to get the 622 and HD programing?

So I took the plunge and called Dish today.... I got India...but I understood and they seemed to have an understanding as well.... If I want to trade out my 508 for a new 622 it will cost me initially $299 for the receiver but when everything is added up ( platinum/ locals/ HD fee/dvr fee/ 622 lease fee) the cost is over $120 a month plus tax....

and there is no annual pay plan.....

Can this be true?

I believe the platinum package has aep, locals, and hd all in one at 104.99. You don't have to pay the dvr with the platinum package. You should only have to pay
104.99 for plat package and 6 lease fee for a total of 110.99. Not over 120, but close.

True. That's with only the 622 on the account.

Unh. If there's only one receiver, there's no lease fee - it's built into the package price.
