Can you put an 18" dish network/dtv lnb on a 30" dish along with a KU lnb?

Just curious if you can put both lnb types on one dish to pull in both ku and the freebie echostars on one motorized dish?

Sure can, most members use a hose clamp, a zip tie or good old duct tape!

Rock on. Cool. Thanks. That'll make life a lot easier when that motor and dish get here. I'll just take the lnbs off of those 18"ers and have a new pallate for my paints

I've done it a few times

If you put the DBS LNB to the left (if behind the dish) then the DBS is +4 from the KU slot
If its to the right then its -4
(as an example, 1st picture is 123 & 119...closer LNB is 119)
