Can you use E* Dish with a D* HR-24 for D* service

I canceled E* last year and started D* last year. I didn't have to send the E* Dish or LNBF back E*. I want to put a 2nd Dish up at my office across town and add a HR24 to my (home) account to use at my office. The E* Dish I have is says "Dish Network 1000" and the LNBF says "dp plus".

Can I use this set-up for D* service or do I need a new D* set-up?

you would need a different dish. The older Dish setups sometimes work on a single satellite (101) option.

When you're talking HD you need the correct dish.

If you do not care about HD, then 18" dishes can be acquired cheaply and easily.
