IT'S NINE YEARS (SEPTEMBER 1ST) that WION signed on the air with the team that turned it into "I-1430" and saved the station from being "gone for good!"
In nine years: we've outlasted many a format change in the big cities, we're the longest ownership since McPherson's owned WION, we've given more money to charity than any other local media, and....look at this list: We've made the AM signal bigger than ever, added FM for you to enjoy, instituted AM stereo for better AM sound, and we offer FREE streaming and apps!
