Will these work with Dish as a phone line?

I can get a companion cellphone for about 10$ a month while my landline costs much more then that.

well while I too would be interested, there is a rather large line on the page that reads

***You can NOT use the cellsocket with credit card readers, modems, fax machines, or satellite TV systems.

I have one of these & NO, it will not work.
The main problem is, you have to dial a # at the end of the dialing string, which you cannot make any DBS boxes insert at the end of their pre-programmed dialing string.
