Channel Mapping question

I am aware that there is a setting that allows you to have the HD local channel set a a default. Example, if I tune FOX on the SD chanel 10 it will automatically tune the HD chanel in the 6000's. My question is does the samething happen to nonlocal hd channels like HBO, Showtime, etc?

so you are asking can you map HBO-HD 9456 to 300 for HBO-E ?
I have seen nothing like that, however i do have the HD channels programmed as single buttons on my Harmony 880 Remote.
