Channelmaster mod

hi guys
a friend is giving me a 2.4m Channelmaster offset for a case of beer ,is there a mod i can do so it can fit a fortec STAB HH120 Motor?

is prime focus or offset
if it is fiberglass it will most likely be to heavy for the hh120 motor

Hey, I'll get him a case of any kind of beer he wants, for another of those!

Even the light weight Fortec Star 2.4 would be too heavy for the Stab HH-120.
They rate it for 4' dishes, not 6' nor 8'.

I've looked at getting a 6' Prodelin molded fiberglas dish, and the dish alone weighs around 100 lbs, so I'm sure your 8' will be that or more.

8ft vs 4ft is quite a difference. no way a stab 120 could even support it without falling apart, nevermind turn it. lol.

hell its big enough though that you could strap some lnb's onto the main one and make it a multilnb dish.

Search for a polar mount for the dish, and attach an actuator. That would be one kick@ss signal grabber!
