i was watching a channel and it signed off for the night now i now the channel turned off but does the transponder?? 30 seoconds after it turned off there was no signal, however my other channel signals are good

welcome to the world of feeds...here now..gone in 5 minutes

the transponder on the satellite is in standby until someone rents some space on it. The folks using the transponder space are the ones that send the power to that transponder

SBS 6 has lots of sports feeds on weekends, then just Ohio news during the week.

Don't mean to hijack this thread, but................

:D Iceberg, thanks to tips from you and others, I now enjoy Feeds from 74°W and 79°W (multiple LNB setup on a 3ABN Dish.) ;):up I spend more time Blind scanning for Feeds than watching them.
