clarion PNP receiver

Hello,

We have recently purchased the clarion PNP receiver along with the car kit. We've been using the radio all weekend in the car, and we've noticed that the receiver gets very hot during use. Does anyone know if this is normal?

Yes it's normal. My JVC PnP is the same way.
