I have a Dish 722 receiver currently being fed by two attic antennas combined with a splitter. The main antenna is a Radio Shack U75 pointed at tower farm about 12 miles away, the other, a DIY 4221 aimed at off location (120 degrees to the south) station about 30 miles away. Right now, all my signals are great to decent...85-100 on the farms towers, and low 70's on the off station. Recently got another TV hooked up to a 622 receiver with a separate antenna that's not so hot. I would like to split my 722 configuration to the 622, but am concerned about signal loss, especially on that rogue tower. Which would be a better bet? A CM 7775 preamp after the combiner/splitter, then split again to the two sets? Or a CM3044 distribution amp input from the splitter/combiner then out to the two sets? I want good signal but don't want to add unnecessary noise. Thanks!!
