Bought a Linksys AE1000 High Performance wireless-N USB Adapter. Tried to connect to my wireless router, so I can download movies using my directv dvr, no luck. I have reset everything I could. After running thru set up, I get a couple of error messages. "Ethernet cable not connected (9), Not connected (13). Any suggestions.

tell us the details about the entire setup; hardware models and how its all connected, etc. I also don't think a USB adapter is going to work.

USB adapter will not work.
There are currently no wireless options available for DirecTv.

Your options are
1) Directly connecting the DVR to the router with cat5/6
2) Wireless ethernet port. (one that either uses the homes electrical system or a wireless signal then connects to the ethernet port of the DVR)
3) DECA which will only work if you have a green label SWM system.

Interesting experience with Quick Tune - makes me wonder how it works.

Will DTV remote operate a Samsung soundbar?
