Cracked casing on LNB...should I worry?

My DPTwin has a crack in the red circled area in the picture below. The Case is still intact and not falling apart. The LNB works fine and there is no problem with satellite signal. My guess is these units aren't water tight (at least not by using the plastic case since it does have a seem where the case snaps together)

The plastic casing (if that is what you are referring to) on the LNB doesn't really serve any useful purpose in most cases. Often, it is completely removed when buying used. The inside of these units should be sealed and watertight.

So, if you are replacing it just because it is cracked (depending or what and where), you may want to simply save your money:)
