CSPAN analog still there?

I think there is a misconception that C-SPAN is run by the government. According to Wikipedia:
Cable-Satellite Public Affairs Network is an American cable and satellite television network that was created in 1979 by the cable television industry as a nonprofit public service.

I was about to point out the same thing.

It isn't 'public' in the sense it is funded by government it is a 'public service,' provided by the cable industry.
 
Wish they would put one up on mid Ku band for everyone's to see, since it's a public channels. :rolleyes:

Not everyone's has a DC 2 or 4DTV, should be on DVB S2 modes, IMHO!:hatsoff

Been saying the same thing for years about NASA. For a long time the SD version was available on unsubscribed Dish receivers, but no longer.
