Anyone have a rough estimate of how much current is flowing in a typical FTA coax? LNBF or LNBF + Switch? I'm looking for a rough estimate, and don't feel like getting an ammeter between my receiver and dish.

Either H or V. just ballpark.

Thanks.

Most of the time it's around 100 to 150 ma for an LNBF, a switch is around 20 to 25 ma.

Gotta consider the motor as well (assuming you are using a motor). When its running, it can initially draw up to 350 mA, 200 mA nominal. In standby, it draws 50 mA (specifications apply to an SG-2100).
