What ever happened to streaming live out of the home. Wasn't that possible at one point? I can't seem to get it to work. Keeps telling me to get a genie Go.

Perhaps you are using the wrong app? there's a DirecTV App and there's a GenieGo app.

Should still work, they just added more channels to it.

What channel were you trying, just to clarify, and it is just live programming, nothing from your playlist (that would require genie go).

I'm new to having a smartphone. (It's been a month.)

I haven't had a problem with streaming a premium programmer, such as HBO Go. But, I haven't tried too many others (such as basic-cable programmers; but, Watch Food Network has worked for me).

I'm sorry anyone is having any problems with streaming any of the programmers.
