Defective HR10-250

If you have the 5.99 protection plan, will D* send a 10-250 to replace a defective 10-250 or will they send a HR20-700?

i have the $0 protection plan and they sent me a new hr10-250 to replace my bad one (i think i'm paying a $19.99 "shipping" fee).
