how do you delete a post you made in the forum?

You go back to that post and look at the bottom and you will see Edit and Delete among the options. You simply click delete.

Depending on the screen size and orientation of your device, it may be under a drop-down menu.

Aren't Pub members afforded extra post 'editing' abilities and no time limit to do so that regular members are not? Hence, the post may not be able to be deleted as he is not a Pub member.

I think it use to be that way, but we've had so many updates over time, I don't know if that is still accurate.

I believe I just confirmed what I said to be true. My wife is a member (for the Song Name Game thread) but is not Pub. She said the posts she has made are only editable for a short time. For instance, one she made shortly after midnight today now has no editing capability at all.

Well, I went back to a post of mine from August and the edit option is still there so....

I went back to my posts in 2021 and still was able to edit.

Didn't it use to be 24-48 hrs ?

Here again, I wonder if the time frames change when we move to different software.

That's because they know you'd cut them off, if they cut you off….
