Dexter - Season 8 (Final Season)

That was one of the best single episodes in YEARS!

In my world of Dexter I can see the final episode playing out kind of like Seinfelds last. D's dreaming he's on the table and all, all of his victims direct or indirect plunging knives ending his life. What a list of guest stars! Ah... so satisfying.

I never understood why they thought Yates was the "brain surgeon", there was nothing linking him to those crimes.

Decent show last night, but why Dexter didn't kill him is a mystery to me. Big mistake!

Yep!
Remember the last time he had a chance to kill and didn't.
Rita was murdered.

Though its time for Dexter to retire, I hope they leave a glimpse of hope for a Dexter movie in a year or so.

In other words I thought it sucked!!!!!!!!

As a long time Dexter fans it's hard for me to say it outright sucked...but yes, it sucked. This was one of the most creative shows on television for years...and it felt like they ran out of time and money. This was almost as bad as the Seinfeld series finale.

Series finales are usually bad,
The ONLY good in this was the glimmer of hope for a movie in the future.

I think it was one the few, if only finales of late, that someone put any thought into. I thought it was perfect. Dexter did not end!!!
