When I signed my 18 month contract with Dish, I received 18 months of credits worth $10 each for DHPP. My question is how can I avoid having my bill go up $10 at the end of those 18 months? Can I just cancel the DHPP, or can I re-sign for 18 months and get another round of freebies?

Any help is appreciated.

If you want to avoid the price increase after your contract ends, then you'd need to either a) cancel the DHPP - yes, you can do this, and re-add it later if you like; or b) downgrade other programming to offset the DHPP cost, if its worth that to you.

Hope that helps.

DHPP dosen't cost $10 it is only $5.99/mo. and is free for DHA customers that sign up for an 18mo. contract. The $10 off per mo. is not DHPP and I believe is only good for 10 months. If you want to pay less you can select a lower programming package AT60 instead of AT120 would save $10.

You're correct that it is just the 5.99, I thought it was 9.99. It is possible to just cancel that, though, after the 18th month to avoid the extra $6.00?
