CCTV 9 now on channel 265 in English. I did'nt notice whether it was on 61.5 or the main satelllites. Actually the programming is kinda interesting.

It's on 110 (EchoStar 6 specifically), transponder 26.
I've been watching it occasionally for a few weeks now, free to air (FTA), on Galaxy 3C. It's on several other satellites also, free to air, in fact 121 (EchoStar 9) has had it in the clear for the past couple weeks.
It is a nice channel. They even have "learn Chinese" segments. They're geared toward children, but still interesting if you're bored enough.

CCTV Spanish & French is on channel 884 for most people right now as well from 110 tp 26
