Dingell Praises Comcast For PEG Flexibility

If Comcast is serious about this, I would like to see expanded access (at a reasonable rate) for PEG and Leased Access programmers to place programs in Video On Demand. This would even take up less capacity than a full time channel, as subscribers would only order up a PEG/Leased program when they want to see it.

And, I am all for charging infomercial-type programmers a higher rate, and offering a lower rate to those programmers who provide legitimate programming with no more than, say, 6 to 8 minutes of commercials per hour, or 3 or 4 per half hour.
