Channel Lineups SD
Dish Network channel lineups starts off with the locals mapped down to the original channel numbers (below 100). Channel 100 and 101 are info channels 102 is the Tvguide channel 103 is PPV guide.

Channel 105 USA network starts off the regular SD programming lineup which runs to 221 where the Shopping channels block starts and runs through 229.

The Superstations a Dish exclusive start at 232 running to 239


260 is where the religious block starts
265 has CCTV followed by Univision with 2 other spanish channels.

Channel 280 has the preview showroom channel followed by whichever channels Dishnetwork is giving a free preview to up to 298 followed by 299 reelz.

The premiums start at 300 with HBO ending with 356.

Sports block with regional sports networks starts at 400 with Tennis ending at 472.

Adult programming starts at 481 with adult PPV’s and ending at 499.

PPV Guide channel is at 500 followed by PPV’s up to 538.

NHL Center Ice starts at 540 followed by NBA League Pass at 560-572

International programming starts at 584 followed by Dish Latino starting at 835-916.

The Dish Network music channels start at 919 with Sirius info channel followed by the Dish Audio channels at 923-946, the CD channels from 950-981 and Sirius from 6001-6097.

Mapped HD locals start in the 6000’s followed by the superstations which are mapped to the 8000's followed by mapped SD locals also in the 8000's.


RSRCH starts off the educational / personal interest channels at 9400-9418.
HD starts at 9410 followed by Business channels to 9900.

Channel Lineups SD

Directv starts off with the locals and HD locals mapped down to the original channel numbers (below 100) then the HD channels which will be addressed later.

Directv has PPV previews on 100, CDUSA on 101, Directv news mix on 102, sports mix on 104, Mix info channel on 105, Game lounge on 110, Customer support on 114 followed by PPV ‘s to 200. PPV Previews also on channel 200 and Directv basics on 201 followed by CNN which starts off the regular SD programming with Court tv, Headline news and Espn and alternates following with regular programming.

380-389 has the distant networks CBS, NBC, ABC, FOX East and West feeds along with the East CW and PBS feeds. (you must qualify to receive these)

The 400’s starts the Spanish programming block (para todos?) with the Univision’s starting it off . Channel 490-494 are test channels for checking your dish for signal.

The Premiums start at 500 with HBO ending at 550 with IFC. 575 starts the private network broadcast channels ending at 589.

The adult broadcasting block starts at 590 ending at 599.

The 600’s start the sports channels with Vs the Outdoor Channel and the Fox Sports regionals along with RSN’s ending at 699.

The 700’s start with 4 Game Mix Channels followed by the NCAA channels with NFL stuck in there at 708 (these are Sunday Ticket channels during the NFL season).
Directv is the exclusive provider for the NFL Sunday Ticket and when available is available in HD

750 starts off the NBA League pass channels followed by 764 the NHL package’s.

778 starts of the ESPN block currently showing College Basketball.

793 is Nascar short cuts channel showing the five featured drivers 794 the Nascar Mix
channel followed by the 5 Hotpass car channels.

800 has the 101 content.
801 starts off the Directv XM channels followed by the XM Business channels starting at 1560.
9901 starts off the Game lounge channels ending at 9924.

HBO Latino is not a Dish exclusive. It is on Directv channel 511.

I don't see any mention of D* having some RSN's, either full time or when programming is available, in HD. Also, don't know if you want to mention the HD STB's having guide info for local ATSC stations on their HD boxes. Other then that nice job.
