Recently my dvr has not been playing back programs fully. I start watching a program and after a while I get a black screen and it goes to regular tv. I try fast forwarding past that art but it still stops there. I'd say now it is occuring on about 1/3 of the programs I watch. Is this common? Is there any easy fix or do I need to call DTV and have it replaced. Will thhy do this for free. I've had it for a little over 2 years.
Also on my HD box I pulled out the card and looked at it the other day when I lost all signals and then after hitting the red button for the 2nd time got just the HD channels. I had to call DTV to have them restor all my channels. The card had some brown(slight burnt looking) where the connectors are. The box runs really hot. Is this typical?
