Directv in the Carribian - What Dish Size is required?

There are a lot of reports of DirecTV US signals going out in the Caribbean, Mexico and Central America, tho I have not heard if it was temporary of DirecTV forcing users to move to DirecTV Latin America service. It used to require a 2.4m dish or larger.
