DirecTV sues Lifetime over Dishnetwork contract

“They used us when it was it was beneficial to them, and they screwed us when they no longer needed us,” said Dan Fawcett, DirecTV’s executive vice president of programming acquisition. “We’re sort of disappointed at Lifetime’s failure to live up to commitments under two contracts with us.”

Oh, please...I doubt Lifetime has the ability to screw over DirecTV and there is certainly no reason to void the contract - sounds like sour grapes to me. Simple solution: if Lifetime promised to reimburse customers $200 to switch over to DirecTV then they should honor their word. I also heard Lifetime was paying $200 for Dish subscribers to switch over to cable, but I couldn't find anything in writing...and Adelphia knew nothing about the offer.
