Ok, I don't watch TV at all other than the HD package, locals (which I get through my HD antenna) and the NFL package, for this reason, DirecTV has a hold on me.

Is it possible for me to cancel my basic package, but subscribe only to the NFL package and the HD package? I'm just absolutely wasting $45/mo on these stupid 100 channels that literally never get turned on.

No, you must subscribe to a minumum package in order to get st and the hd package.
