I have a Dish 1000 being installed in a few weeks. I am thinking about having them put it on a pole mount. Any idea what size pole the Dish 1000 takes? I want to have the pole in cement before they get there. Thanks!

If you go to Home Depot, get a 1-5/8" O.D. Chain Link Fence post. This will work great. I would go with 8' or 10'.

Everything you wanted to know about the Dish 1000 and Dish 1000+ but was afraid to ask.

And here's the SuperDish (105 and 121).

1 1/4 galv water pipe = 1 5/8 o.d. some would say overkill, but here in tree country it does come in handy because you can extend the height if needed in the future.

Am using 1 5/8 EMT conduit pipe from the Home Depot electrical department. I always fill these with concrete for stability and to keep water from freezing in it.

Will Sat 129 work in NC?

USB Storage getting closer with 3.63???
