Dish 1000 with 61.5 dish issue

I originally had a Dish 1000 unit installed and was told I had to add an additional dish for HD locals (Michigan Area), which I believe is the 61.5 dish. The problem is when I remove the locals dish from the connection, I loose other channels other than HD locals. What would cause this? Shouldn't I be able to go back to the original setup without the 61.5 dish and still receive all the channels?

Try running a check switch, save, and see what you have then. menu-6-1-1
