dish 300 or 500?

I'm not sure what I have, I'm pretty sure its a 500, on channel 9900 it says congratulation you have a dish 500!
But on the point dish screen menu, it is set for the 300. I tried changing to 500 and I don't notice nothing different.
Does it matter what its set for?

The check box you're seeing is only to display the correct aimin numbers. It does nothing else. Trying watching the azimuth & elevation numbers while changing it. Look also at the Skew number - it won't be there (or maybe grayed out) for Dish 300.
