Hi

We just had our 2 311's replaced due to an issue with the information box coming up in middle of programs, without touching the remote, even did it when remote batteries were removed, changed remote address, and then it did it 3 times while on phone with at&t dishnetwork. Would having a phone line connected be any benefit to the situation.

Second 311 receiver isn't used much(one in my sister's room), in the future might consider dishin it up for an HD Receiver down here, and let her have TV 2 from the 622 receiver, am i paying extra for her receiver not being used much..guess 2 questions in one lol, but i have wondered that

The phone being connected would make no difference. For your other questions you are charged $5 an month for the 311 that could be saved if you hooked up tv2 on your 622 instead. You need the phone line hooked up on a 622 though or are charged $5.

Yes the phone line is hooked to 622 all the time, currently using TV 2 with second HD TV, but thinking since that room doesn't use 311 much, be easier just to have that room on 622 TV2, and another HD Receiver down here(this is a 55inch HDTV currently connected to TV2) but for now will think about it, and decide what is the best way to go

You are aware that the TV2 output of the 622 is not HD, right? If you're OK with that 55" TV being just SD, go with it as-is. If you want HD at that second location, then you need to share a TV1 output. Feed the HDMI connection to the "nearby" TV1 and use the component outputs + L/R audio to feed the TV2 location. (Or reverse that if the HDMI run is less than 50'.) Of course, both locations will have to watch the same program that way. For many folks that's not a problem.

Well the length is about 100-200 feet away from the TV 1 location(current TV2 is, current coax wire is run thru the floor, at least 100-200 feet worth, then connected to DVD-Recorder, then out from there to TV Antenna A spot), So might just leave it as is for now, and maybe dish it up to HD Receiver later on for this 55inch tv, and use TV 2 connection for another SD tv in the future upstairs.

No HDMI connection anyways on this 55 inch HDTV, do have DVI, but that is used by DVD-Player.
