Dish 500 To Pick up 129

Hey fellows,
How do you hook up the 2nd Dish 500 to tie in to pick up Satellite 129.
One dish to point at 119 and 110 2nd dish to point at 129.
Do you use a SW21 to tie these togather?
Be using a 311 receiver. What type of Feed Horns..

What's your set-up now? lnb, switch

a DP dual on the 2nd dish. From there, you have options. A DPP twin on the main dish will have an input for that dual. OTOH, if you have a DP Twin, you need a DP21.....

Now, if you are using legacy lnbs, you would need a legacy dual, legacy twin, and a SW21.

Have LB now


We are hoping in the near future?? that dish will put 129 on 110, but for
now I would like to get our Local Networks.
I got a few 500 around and some LB's
Got a few Sw21's too..

Chad, I will go for the Legency LB. I think that is what is on the Dish 500 now that is being used. Need to wire from here to the other Dish 500 to point at 129
I have a variety of LB's available.

A picture is worth 1000 words. for your 110/119 dish 500 you will need to use a LEGACY Twin, run one output ONLY to your SW21, then bring in your coax from the 129 dish with a legacy dual or single (a twin might work, but that would be over kill).

119,110 sat.DPP TWIN LNBF and 129 sat. DP.DUAL LNBF or

119,100 sat. DP.TWIN LNBF and 129 sat. DP.DUAL LNBF with SW-34

I glad that I went with the Dish upgrade in my area of Chicago,IL. It gave me a very nice dish 1000. I like having only one dish because if I had 2 the owner of the duplex would sh*t and tell me to get rid of both.
