Hi thinking hard about coming back to DISH.Just announced today my local cable company was bought by WOW.

Sure dont see aany good about WOW and HD.
Anyway I called my local dish retailer is she right when she said only has a Dual tuner DVR but it id HD DVR

My wife has to have a dual tuner DVR(must be able to record two live shows)

ANd I need to HD MPG 4 boxes ( NOT DVR).

On the plus my locals have moved since I left Dish and now all is done with ONE dish 1000 now no longer needing that second dish for 61.5

Thanks

Well before you jump ship, if it's the same WOW that is in IL, you might be in for some good things. (assuming they implement the same upgrades they have done in IL) Here's their website - quite frankly, I wouldn't mind having them for my cable co:

After looking at the President/CEO's bio I would run as fast as I could. AT&T and TCI cable I find scary.:)

Well, but the good thing is - all these systems that WOW has are the old Americast cable systems that Ameritech built when they were playing with video. They HAVE to be in better shape than any of the old TCI/AT&T (old AT&T) cable systems any day!
