Slimline dish for FTA

I've got one of those laying around, thinking it's a bit small. Think my 30 inch CM would outperform it. Might be OK for a strong channel though. But here's a success story http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air-fta-discussion/215851-directtv-slimline-fta-success.html Some more I've come up with are http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air-fta-discussion/227208-newbee-question.html and http://www.satelliteguys.us/free-air-fta-discussion/164164-directv-slimline-dish-help.htmlHope these help -

Smaller dishes require a strong transponder signal. Be better off using a larger dish if you can to allow for rain fade and signal strength variation.
