most probably a stupid question so apologies in advance.

plus this is my first post:

I have the three services (internet/phone/tv) in one from comcast which I would like to send to my current HDTV which is presently getting its feed from my dish network.

question 1:

I assume I can send the comcast receiver output signal to the cable input point on the dish_network receiver?

question 2:

can i mix dish network signal and comcast digital signal with a mixer? and then separate them near the TV with a filter?

regards,

For number one, long story short is "no." The port on the receiver that says "Cable/Antenna In" only actually functions as Antenna In. There is no cable/digital cable tuner in the dish box. Is running your cable straight into the TV an option?

Can't help with your second question... but hope it helps with the first...

Any discussion out there?
