I heard from couple DTV guys Dish Network has couple Indian call centers..now thats bad...but again does DTV have indian call centers too?
I look for good customer service since i just ordered ViP 622 + all programming package from Echostar along 1 international channel.

For the best, and easiest to understand :rolleyes: customer support, use the technical support option. I think you will enjoy Dish Network and you will offset their loss when (if?) I switch to D*. :haha

DTV= Digital Television, D*=DirecTV

actually the activation fee from them is 21$ one time fee..
Claude i don't think you can install Dish ViP 622 + Dish 1000+ on my roof by Friday can you?
If so i can still call the whole thing off and call you ^^.

They have two out of country call centers, the Phillipines and India. Most calls that have to do with billing get routed to these out of country call centers. Tech support type questions stay in USA according to a CSR (who seemed quite knowledgeable) I just got off the phone with about thirty minutes ago.

Even D* outsources...

Almost all major companies do.. AT&T does -- Want DSL support, your speaking to india.

The cable companies do too!
